Do ATV’s have a differential?

I’ve learned a lot tinkering with my first ATV, a 98 Cat 300 2x4. I’m working on the brakes now, trying to get them in order. Having ridden it quite a bit now it seems that the back wheels always turn together, not having a differential. So it pushes around corners. I also assume that’s why it only has brakes on one side of the rear. Is this common for all ATVs? Do some of them have a true differential? If so, what models do?

It’s very common. I might have a caliper or two kicking around if you need one.

Only the 250’s and 300’s don’t have a separate rear diff. The bigger models have a diff but it’s not a limited slip so it still tears up the lawn and trails with sharp turns.
