Hi, I have a 1999 Arctic Cat ZL 600 with carbs that I got this summer. I siphoned all of the gas out of the tank and refilled it with new gas and one ounce of seafoam per gallon. I rode it once since it snowed, and when I would let off the gas and come to a complete stop, it would idle at 4,000 rpms and then slowly idle down to around 1,500 to 2,000 rpms. Is this how it should be running?
People have told me the carbs should be cleaned every season as preventative maintenance. I would like to learn how to take them apart and clean them correctly. I believe it has Flat Slide carbs. Could anyone tell me, or give me a link on how to take the carbs apart and clean them?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
