My buddy has a 96 Vmax 600. The keeps getting the TORS system (throttle override system) kicking in and he has to stop, let rpm's drop below 2500, and it resets...

basically i think his throttle switch is worn out, but either way...
anyone know the way to bypass this system? Jumpering a switch or cutting a wire?

thanks!

You should be able to see the wire leads coming from it. You have to unplug the two and plug the male and female back into each other to complete the circut. you cant simply unplug them and disable. Just put a riser on my RX1 Mountain and thought I had ample slack in the throttle cable and found out I didnt after a hard right turn while getting on the throttle hard.....Thank GOD for the THORS![attachment=120678:atka_on_...trip_001.jpg]
