My '05/'06 F5 has the DD...as well as my cousin's F6 SP. No dip stick and no way to check other than to drain and refill the DD through the drain plug on the inside of the tunnel. I just changed the fluid last week...just before we put on another 900+ miles in a week !

its a two stroke there is no oil in the crank case.

The dipstick on your friends 03 is NOT for the crank case that is the CHAINCASE dip stick like the post above says no crank case oil on a 2 stroke your sled has diamond drive so you have no chain case
there is oil in the diamond drive but there is no way to check it.

Your oil goes in that little tank under the hood just ahead of the right handle bar.

Just keep it full & it goes right into your crankcase.. :sure_ok:
