Mud Bugs vs Mud Bug Radials

Hey guys, I've been away for a while but now I'm getting back into riding. I need a set of mud tires for my 400 4x4. I don't do alot of trail riding. I mostly use my quad for hunting (duck and deer) so mud is my main concern. However, I don't need a super aggressive set (i.e. Outlaws, Mudzillas). I am looking at a set of 26" Mud bugs, but now that I've found the Mud bug radials I'm wondering if they are worth the extra $100 per set. I noticed that the originals have a deeper tread, and look more aggressive. Does anyone know how well the radials perform, or would the bias mud bugs suit me? Any input is appreciated.

Bugs are a good choice for your type of riding. If you're going to do a lot of swamp riding, I would even consider running 12's all the way around, bugs are a relatively light tire in that size. I personally wouldn't bother with the radials.

I would pass on the radials, don't care for that tread pattern much.
Stick with the regular Bugs, 12" in back and 10's or 12's up front. I have them on a Honda and they work perfect for exactly the conditions you describe. Awesome snow tire too, not that YOU need it down there... but for those that do !

Thanks for the input guys. I think I will go with 26x10's in the front, and 26x12's out back. That is as soon as I can round up th cash. Wolf- your right, I don't ride in the snow very often- but you never know
