Do it, I put 55/65 gears from BDX in my Crossfire and she still does 70-75mph. Unless you're a lake racer you wont miss the top end but you'll love the torque you pick up on the bottom end

-and the M's are 57/63 the tooth number always =120

 

ok haha, my top speed was around 90mph before how much do u think it would impact it?

Nope I havent had any belt problems yet. Going from 60/60 to 57/63 should make your belt run cooler because the engine does not have to work as hard to turn the track

 

I will be doing that to my CF7 the next time I pull the DD. How often do I spend driving 100 mph straight-aways vs how much time I spend accelerating and playing around? My only concern is that gearing down may make it too snappy for my girlfriend...we'll see. I'm thinking I'll probably go 55/65.
