I was just wondering if there is a good way to clean the inside of a pipe should i pressure wash it or spray brake clean in it swish and pour out. i also want to know how to clean the out side of it sand blast? I'm repainting it. Will temp paint up to 1200 degree work its right on the edge of egt?

The inside should be as new as the day it was made. I cleaned up mine with a wire wheel, and painted it with that 1200 paint. It will last a little bit but eventully burn off. If you read closely it prob says *for spikes up to 1200 degrees, as most of that high temp paint is only good for 500 degrees.

You can take an old speedo cable, fray the end up and attach it to a drill. Install the cable in the pipe and run the drill. Also could put ball bearings inside of the pipe and shake it around to loosen carbon build up before the cable. This idea comes from the clymer manual.

I'll take it to work with me sand blast it then put in the hot tank as said thanks. How much does ceramic coating cost and where can i find a place to do it? I was going to paint it and then rap most of it. I like the way rapping looks.
