I started using Stabil 360. I really haven't ridden more than a few miles this season so I have no feedback yet. I read this stuff works pretty goodI dunno

I like Sta-bil half of my carb cleanings come from people who use that garbage.

I run startron in everything.

 

I've used Star-Tron exclusively past several years w/o a prob. Some gas stations are selling 93 w/o ethanol.

 

I add 3 oz. Klotz octane booster to every 5 gallons of gas for no purpose other than to stabilize the fuel.Cat happy

 

IMO none of the fuel additives that deal with ethanol work worth a sh*t. All of the major brands I have tried in the spring...the fuel all comes out looking the same in the fall as if it wasn't even treated, neon yellow and separated!

Its too bad you guys can't get ethanol free premium. We were down to one station in town that had non ethanol premium & everyone took their power sports toys & got their lawnmower fuel there. Now it making a come back. Now I have three to pick form (except the one closest to my house of course) The word has been out long enough where people are figuring it out.

I can't imagine buying premium ethanol fuel, its the slowest moving fuel in the filling stations tanks.
Heck, It probably comes out of the hose already hygroscopically contaminated.

 

I run Seafoam in everything I own and have never had a problem

 

Last week I summerized the sleds with 89 octane 100% gas. No ethanol. I added Startron just because the old gas I drained out had ethanol in it about 15 %. My sleds need 91 minimum, so next season I will siphon it out and burn it in our cars. I just dont want ethanol in the tanks over the summer period. I greased the suspensions, and bought some cheap storage covers for them from Amazon. My sleds stay inside my man cave, but I do quite a bit of woodworking so the cheap covers are basically dust covers/ and keep the ultra violet fluorescent lights off them. i will start the sleds monthly and let them warm up. Thats the way I've been doing it for years and it seems to work out just fine.

 

Summerizing this week.
Startron is what I use.

 

I use Stabil in every tank but use ethanol free "R90" for summer storage. I try to run the R90 full time in my lawnmower, etc.

What is that slush like substance in the float bowel? Is it frozen?

 

That carb is bad.
I use Startron and have not had any issues. When I can I use non ethanol high test and make sure that is what is in the tank for storage.
