Dynographs on dynotechresearch all show the actual hp is 128 to 132 (most are 130ish), this is on 87 octane gas. There is a pour in mod that gets a 4 HP gain, all you do is fill up up with 91 octane (dyno documented as well).

From the Dynotech website, dyno testing of a 2007 Jag on 87 octane.....the max numbers were:
8800 and 8900 RPM 132.4 HP
8000 and 8100 RPM 82.2 lbs torque

 

I'm real interested to see how the production 2012 1100 non turbos will run. If you believe the rumors and hype, they should be significantly faster than the 2011s Less weight, more HP due to the dual exhaust pipes, and more usable HP to the track due to the new chain drive.

 

I know the 1200 Doo is much faster than my 07 Z1. Maybe with the weight loss, it might be closer, but I don't see them running together.
However the ride quality is better on the Cat

 

Im still debating this NA. Everyone keeps saying its the way to go coming off a 09 f6. maybe ill let it go for a year and see what happens..

 

If the only reason is the difference between the 600 2 stroke and the 1100 as far as power goes, I'd buy it. If you were coming off an 800, then maybe there would be an issue. If I come up to a twin spar 600 with my Z1, I'm not too worried about it. The firecat 600 would be a different story. I came off a ZR800EFI, and am very happy with the 1100 torque and powerband.

 

I bought a f1100 na and was wondering the same thing.There is a guy that talked to dale at D&D and said it was a very nice motor, i was thinking turbo but dont need all the power and dont have the extra $$$$. He assured him that this engine will be awesome.
