just bought used 2003 artic cat 550 pantera,no choke ,wont start when using the choke,and wont idle, but when i crack the throttle abit ,will fire up up, and dosent run good when your moving,as sooon as you stop wont idle and dies?

Sounds like a good carb cleaning is in order. Pilot jets may be plugged and that's maybe why it doesn't idle. I just had my 570 Bearcat carb apart due to plugged pilot jet. Chokes have two settings. Lever straight out is half choke and lever flipped over is full choke.
