Carb question for 400 DVX

I have a 400 DVX Tony Stewart edition and I need to replace my carb. The carb I have appears to have a TPS sensor. If I disconnect the TPS sensor and replace with a carb that doesnt have one, will it run the same?

You should start a new thread, give your info/description of problem, and ask question(s)
no one has looked at this for almost 6 years.
FWIW the part pictured above is a TPS, but it shouldn't have any effect on if the machine runs (most guys say they cant tell the difference when riding the machine)
