How did that work out keeping the headlight plastic? Did you have to cut it from the fender flare?

And the green fenders remaining... Are there any holes where the flares used to attach to? Probably right?

I haven't looked at mine yet, won't be able to until next weekend. But I do remember seeing screws holding them on.

Your right! there are three holes left in each fender where I removed the flairs. And yes I did leave the plastic around the lights. I just cut that part away from the fender flair. The holes are only about 3/16" or maybe 1/4" diameter. No biggie. I like it much better and when mudding more of the mud is thrown away from the bike and not collecting under the fenders now. Do I get more mud on myself? Hell yeah! But where we ride you always come out a muddy mess anyway so I don't have a problem. You should see the rooster tails this thing will throw now. Even with the stock tires.

It's funny how taste's vary. Before I had my 650 I had a 250 4x4 and bought the flare kit for it. I always thought the black accents and the flares themselves looked tough. And I know what you mean about the mud Bob. It was always alot easier to clean it before I added the flares. I can only imagine how much mud a 650 can throw w/o the rear flairs. You need to hammer it when one of your buddies is right behind you slaphappy
