there was 2 people i thought had them here. i wouldnt mind having them if the price tag wasnt soo high. but alot of the articles i have read on them have said you need high hp to turn them. so im not sure how well the 400 would do with them. but this is based on what ive read. i have no actual real life info.

A guy in town has bought a set. I think they were just over $3,500.00 Canadian. He put them on a 500 auto. It sapped alot of power and if he gets into any amount of powder snow it has to be run in low gear. It throws snow powder up off the front tracks onto the driver. It also increases the turning radius. I think they would be cool if I had and wanted to spend $3,500.00.

When the snow gets too deep around here I will be considering them. I have never operated a track equipped atv but from what I've seen and have heard...

They work really well in deep snow. They are kind of a waste of time in the mud.... although I want to try them. You want the front tracks to be upsloped in the front to climb onto things and stay on top of snow. Ya, they cost you power and speed, but by the time you need them your tire buddies aren't following you anyways, so they can't keep up. Basically you will give up some things about your quad--speed and stuff in exchange for lower ground pressure.

Our resort has a set of mattracks on a suburban and we have had the litefoot tracks on a 500 auto also. The 500 pulled them just fine. The are gear reduced so you can run in high range with no problems. Low range is super slow. You do lose top speed but they don't handle very good at high speeds anyways. If you get a set you really need to put them on an auto cause you loose momentum so fast you can't shift into the next gear. They work great in the snow but if you fall through the ice into about 2 feet of water they are a b!tch to get out, trust me!!!

had a set for my 650...i would not recommend them for any quad smaller than a 500...they are pretty impressive in the deep snow..they cost small fortune though..i did not use mine enough to warrant them ..so i sold them..they eat up alought of ponies is the big downside...and are pretty slow

I just watched a recent episode of DirtTrax TV and they had a set of trax on an Arctic Cat 700H1. I don't remember the brand name but they were all season trax and work very well. If you go to their website you can watch the episodes where they give you all the information.. The episode With the tracked 700H1 is called "RIDE WITH DAD". The cat lookd awesome with the tracks!

I know a local guy selling a set for 2500. Not sure of the brand. I don't have the cash but if i did and a bigger truck to haul them with i might jump on it...
