So I did a little weight comparison on some of my tires. 28x12x12 Zilla on Itp 212ss, 36 pounds. 28x12x12 MST on Itp 212ss 42 pounds. 28x12x12 Silverback on stock T-Cat rim, 50 pounds. Just thought I would share.

Very nice...do you happen to know what stock tire and rim weigh? That would be a good comparison as I'm thinking the zilla has to be damn close to the stock tire weight

I can check tonight. The Zillas has to be a little heavier but I'll find out.

Maybe it was just b/c I was stoked about putting the new tires on, and the blood was pumpin, but when I was switching mine out, the Zillas felt lighter...I am curious to see what you find out....Then again it cld have been the weight difference in the rim too...Both aluminum tho.

Zillas were lighter than the stock ones I had on my 700 - was on 12 inch steel rims to.
My current zilla rims are all 14s and aluminum...

Now tire size wise, the zillas I have are 28s and I even have a set of 30s...

The steel stock wheels had the stock tires and also a set of itp-589s
Both types were heavier than the 28 zillas and these were 25x12s sizes...

I sold the stockers and the 589s to get into the 30s with rims... :)

I just ordered a set of Zillas 27x11 and 27X9 on 12" rims. I had a set of ITP Mudlite XTR 25X8 and 25X10. The Zillas are a total of 16 lbs lighter than the XTR's

I weighed my stock Maxxis Razr 4-speeds and they are 26 pounds on aluminum rims. That pretty damn light. Not sure about the stock tires on other bikes though. I don't have anymore laying around to check.
