So I just purchaed a new 2015 Bearcat 2000 XT, 570 2 stroke. I have approximately 12 miles on it. First few times it ran with no issues, now after the engine is warmed up, it will either stall out once I let off the trottle or it idles at a very very low rpm, low enough that the screen which shows the rpm's and mileage barely flickers with light. My speedometer arm also pins over reading 160mph. Once I hit the throttle, the display resets and the speedometer goes back to the correct side. Any help/suggestions would be great. I have attempted to contact the dealer, but right now I am playing phone tag with them. It is pretty much impossible for myself to get the machine to the dealer as well due to the fact that I do not own a trailer to transport it. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Sounds like you may have to adjust the carburetor idle. Your manual should have a diagram that shows you where the idle speed screws are (1 per carb).

If your throttle linkage is adjusted correct try a 1/4 turn out on each carb and see what that does for your idle.

Thanks I am off work tomorrow and will check into that. What dumbfounds me however is that it seems to idle ok when I first start it up, but after the engine warms up and I stop, that is when it pretty much is shutting itself down.

Did you fill your gas tank? Most if not dealers add extra oil to the first tank and leave it fairly close to empty, thereby causing a condition that doesn't help the engine idle properly and possibly fouling the plugs. I just purchased a 14 570 and it did the same thing until I filled it and put a few more miles on it. Other than that the above info is helpful.

I ended up taking it to the dealer because it was not the idler screw. Turned out to be that throttle position sensor was too loose. So basically when I let go of the throttle, it was reading that my throttle was wide open and was shutting itself off. The dealer has assured me the problem is fixed, but since the snow we had has melted now, I have not been able to test it fully myself as of yet. Thanks for the suggestions and help tho folks.
