So I have a 2010 mud pro 700 and I have just put on 1000k other then the rubber it is still stock. Last summer was my 2nd summer with it. it over heated a few times and started running ruff. When ever I would rev it up for a bit then let go of the gass it would rev down then stall.which ment it would stall in the mudd all the time if I let off the gass. it would take for ever for it to run half smooth when I first started it up to. I took it in to a dealer to get checked out wich i still have a few months warrenty on it. They told me the valves needed ajusting and that I should be doing it every 500km. This does not seam right to me.

It should be done at the first 500. Have a look in your owners manual it will tell what the recommended service intervals are
sounds like what mine did when i had a bad throttle body intake boot. i have 2000+ miles on my 700h1 without any valve adjustment. i would look somewhere else in my opinion. or call another dealer
X2, My 2010 700 LTD had a cracked intake boot as well. Lucky mine was under one of the bands so it was not taking in dust. The only reason I checked,,,,, I read on this BAD A$$ site that other people were having issues with the boot. They do have an updated boot and and large clamp instead of the 2 small clamps. The update was for the 2010 and early 2011.

When my dealer called Arctic Cat and talked to them about the boot, they told him that there was an updated Boot & Clamp. The factory service Tech. told him there was a bad "Lot" of rubber boots and the 2 clamp design was no good. They sent out the new replacement kit that comes in 1 package that contained both the boot and clamp. I ordered an extra kit for a friend because his 700 was out of warranty and it was the full set as well. If the boot design was completely changed or if they just used a different rubber compound is the big question that I can not answer. The service bulletin was just for the Mud Pro's and not for all 700 H1 motors, which is a crock of Sh** because they were using the same part on all 700's The only reason they replaced mine for free was because of the split boot. Cat needs to replace the boots on all models in those years of 700's. Anybody that has an 09 to 11 700 should replace their boots, just to be on the safe side. It only lists for around $20 and is easy to replace.
