I have a chance to purchase a 2004 v2 used for a good price. Are there any common problems other then belts? I read somewhere that they have weak frames..is this true? This particular one has 27 inch Bugs, module, clutch kit. Has under 500 miles, but I do believe that all accessories were added when new. Will those kind of accesories from new hurt break in-or cause any problems down the road? Anything else you can tell me about this quad would be great! Thanks.
P.S-I know the owner, have rode it a few time. Does not usually ride it hard, and takes good care of it.

i bought an 04 le brand new also within the first 100 miles i added a hl ign module, went through a few different clutch kits, had 28in 589s and then switched to 27in bugs yes my frame had issues and my dealer flat out denied replacement.
but for the most part it was a very reliable machine even after i hyped up the eng with 12-1 comp pistons, cams and port work from fundy powersports in canada, imo there good mudders as long as you dont go over 27in tires and also use the brute belt with the belt deflection on the tight side along with either the red epi secondary or almond or yellow other than that if you ride in cold weather install a 500 block warmer for cold starts.also there was only a couple other little things that needed attention and that was the fuel tank check valve would plug and cause the carbs to food the eng out only if you leave the fuel petcock on .
never had happend to me because i always shut mine off and removed the chk valve, thats all i can think of hope it helps :chug:
