Newbie here and first post , I have a brand new left over 06 Z570LX and have put just over 160 miles on it , I have noticed that when I'm going about 35/40 mph and start to slow down I get a very loud low pitch hum (like running the track when it is jacked up) but it can get very loud at times.. I also notice it at about 20/25 mph if I'm just cruising behind the wife , once I get on the throttle it seems to quite down.. When this is happening I have noticed that I can feel a vibration on the left side running board , is this hopefully just a track adjustment or is it a clutching issue..? Any help with this would be great...Sled is still under warranty, it's just a long 3 hr drive away....

I just got a new 06 570LX for my wife, It had the same thing.
I just loosened the track up till it didnt vibrate any more. These cats
with there TSL on the rear suspension can be ran vary loose.
Also check to see how tight your chain is. The tightner only has to be finger tight.
This fixed Hers. Let me know how you came out.

Thanks for your reply, this past weekend I did check the track tension it appears to be within the
specs ( 1 3/4" to 2" at 20lbs..) do you think it should be loosened any more than that..? I'm not to sure what your talking about with the chain , is this inside the chain case or on the outside..? Thanks again for your input..

I've experienced noise/vibration on the left side floorboard on my Cougar for a couple of diferent reasons:
1. When the drive shaft bearing behind the secondary clutch (where the spedometer cable attaches) went
bad. It vibrated off and on for quite a while before the speedo quit because the drive key broke off. There's
a grease fitting down there that you should hit as this one gets forgotten.
2. When you get ice buildup in the tunnel. In certain conditions you get get lots of ice buildup from the melting
snow off the heat exchanges. You have a fan cooled sled, so I don't think this applies but it's easy to check.
