anyone know wher i go from here ?

i just talked to a service tech at country cat and every other word out of his mouth was umm umm umm so he was no help at all

something is causing my spring loaded tensioner to fail and not keep tension on the timimg chain.

Did you follow the FSM procedure when you installed it?

Yes sir it was very easy bolt it back on adjust it and put the screw cap back on i even used a new o ring and gasket. ..its a deeper issue than just the tensioner assembly ...it's want to get the parts ordered along with the top end but idk if i need a new timing chain , chain guide, chain tensioner and another tensioner assembly

I ordered all the timing chain parts and the top end kit that is on back order till February. ..can I replace the timing chain without having to take the cylinder off ?

Yes you can, no need to pull the jug, not sure on the 443 but you may be able to change the guides without pulling the head as well.

Thank you Thank you !
I'm a little scared to do the timing chain myself to be honest and I don't want to have to replace the head gasket twice...i have the service manual but the timing chain part is very confusing to me ...my cylinder might need to be sleeved because no one makes an oversized piston for this engine

Yes I read that but I also have to do a top end and I won't know till I pull the cylinder off if I need to have it sleeved because no one makes an oversized piston for this oddball kymco 443
