They will smoke a fair amount, could check your oil consumption, pump may be set a bit high. Cats oil is just fine ive ran it for years.

If its just bad at the start and first take off your fine. Does it clear up when warm. Your just burning the left over oil.

yup after it warms up it doesn't smoke that much

My first start of the yr. is allways smoky. I cant see a ft in front of me till I move forward and clear it out a bit. I use citco sea and snow oil. Its cheap and works great.

I was using Arctic cat oil which is good oil but seemed to smoke a lot. I read online that Citgo sea and snow semi-synthetic oil doesnt smoke as much and has higher ratings than the arctic cat oil. And the best part is is ony $17.00 a gallon.... Cat happy
