have a 96 zrt 600 and lost spark on the coil that goes to the pto and center cylinder, still have spark on the other coil with just the one wire coming out of it. was running perfect and then just stopped. looking for any ideas at all. thanks
Check the easy stuff first; untwist the plug wires out of the coil and plug caps and trim 1/2" off both ends and screw on new caps. They are cheap from HPE and Dennis Kirk and should be considered maintenance every few years. Then you can start chasing coils and CDI if still no fire. It's been awhile since I worked that problem but I think I noted 16K ohms or higher resistance lead-to-lead through the coil with new 5K resistor caps on a good coil.
