First of all. Great site for Cat owners, wish I had found it a while ago !!!
I have a question about the magnetic switches on the carbs. I understand the principal of them, making sure the throttle valves are at idle, when you start it, but I can't get my head around why it doesn't cut off the spark after its running and I open the throttle valves.Rockerdude

The second part of the switch is in the throttle control assembly at the handlebar. If you look at the pivot point of the thumb control you will see it is egg shaped. When you push the throttle it engages another switch which bypasses the magnetic switches.

Thanks for the quick reply. You guy's are great.Got it now. Just seems every time I have the carbs off, it's like a time delay after before those switches make again.
