I have a 99 zr700 and i was wondering what i could do to get more miles per gallon and speed. It has plenty of torque. What kind of clutch should i put on it and pipes. Im thinking about d&d but i dont know what i should put on it. It has a power breather and not sure if its jetted. So i could use some help on this one. thanks colt

I have a 99 as well with D&D on it, the pipes sound great and add alot of Hp, Im running a ripsaw track , gutted airbox, 350 mains, needle in 3rd position and a clutch kit, the thing cat walks all the time from the power, ya have to get off the gas to steer, only problem Im having now is really bad gas mileage, like 6 per gal, but working on that now. theres a few others who have similar sled and will prolly chime in

Peace

The 99 ZR 700 was well Known for Horrible Gas Mileage. I would check with the Cat Dealer to see if they came up with any Remedies.
