Please help!
My daughter has a 2001 ZL 500 ESR/Fuel injected,on the weekend she noticed it was not hitting high speed,I tried it and it was fine at idle and up to about 1/2 throttle, over that it would get a burst of high speed then back down almost like 1 plug failing, let off a bit punch it and again, ran normal for 2-3 seconds then back down.I changed plugs/Belt still the same.
In the past we have had problems with fuel at one particular station, and sometimes it is unavoidable to use them,I added gas antifreeze and an additive to break up any water that might have entered the system,,with no luck
Any ideas would be appreciated
Thanks

Are the clutches operating correctly?
Probably needs a good cleaning of the fuel system too.
Try some sea-foam, at higher concentrations it will clean the system!

I should have known it was a water issue....Everyone knows CATS don't like water.
