I have a 1998 zl 500 and my buddy has a 00 ps 600 efi that he wants to sell, with a 136"x2" track. What would be the performance differences between these 2 sleds. How much slower will I go? Smoother ride? Is the 600 big enough to pull the 136" track? i would put a 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 to pick up some speed if I bought it.

thanks

what makes you think you need a powder special? are you riding in the deep stuff , off trail e/t/c?

longer track = more rotational mass = decreased everything (speed, milage e/t/c)

how much i can't say but thats just the facts

I agree completely. Your 500 is probably faster and with the right shock valving will handle better on the trails.
