Hello All, I am looking for help decoding the VIN number on my '95 ? Yamaha Vmax 600. Any help would be greatly appreciated !, It's a little rough but it runs and drives.It has flat slide carbs so I want to get the correct rebuild kit for them if possible.I have the carbs soaking right now. I was told by the previous owner it was a 1995 but I would like to be sure. Thank you in advance for your replys

It might be a 94 according to this post, but it seems like the 8CA denotes that it's a standard model.

Excellent, Thank you for your quick response. I looked for a decoder for Yamaha's but I could not find one that made sense of my VIN ( To Me anyway ). Thanks again - Todd
