If you found a place you could box up your entire engine, ship it and have it shipped back to you completely rebuilt, would you use this type of service? The cost for a twin including crank work is about 700$ parts and labor. Comes with great warranty, break-in instructions and tuning tips for long life and good performance. What are your thoughts? Saw a website for a place in Utah that does this.I dunno

If its just a top end no. Compete overhaul I'd have to see their track record. It's a lot of work to yank a motor.. And shipping. Ouch!

It would have to be something special for me to bite.

I calculated the shipping and it's actually not too bad. $30.00 give or take a few bucks. I guess for a top end I wouldn't go for it but for a complete with warranty I guess I would bite.
