My 2013 xf 800 sno pro burnt through a belt and it's sliders in under 300 miles! But the funny thing about the sliders was the front was worn out considerably more than the back! Has anyone else had these problems? If so how do I fix this. I will put on ice scratchers to hopefully improve on the longevity of my sliders this coming year. And would bogie wheels help? Any replys will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
I did have the 2012 with the SP track. I did tighten the track pretty tight because I was running studs and did not want to cause damage with a loose track. I was honestly impressed by the hyfax wear. They held up pretty good all season.

How much snow were you riding?

I'm also curious to see if you had a chance to break in the hyfax? I have had better luck with getting them to last with a good heat and cool down cycle.

The belt issues; Many of us are still struggling with that topic. Run the sled at less than max all day and the belts seem to hold. Run them hard and some of us can blow the things in just a few miles.

It is tough to hold off on the flipper, but the long stronghand power run is a belt killer with the stock setup. When you feel the clutches starting to heat the belt, back off and cool down for a bit.
