I have read a couple posts about the rubber cable stops that keep your hook from going tight up against the roller when you reel it in. I went to Home Depot and bought a fernco 2" x 1" reducer coupling, and guess what? It works great and only cost me $3.47. The hook comes up nice and snug and the rubber coupling keeps it from touching your fairlead rollers. I love Home Depot.

I used an old hockey puck that was laying around the shop. Just drilled a hole in the center and ran the cable though then put the hook back on. Works Great !!!!!
