Have a 2015 mud pro 1000 and was thinking of checking valve clearance,doesn't look like fun!
have 7k on it and never been done.

Are you having starting or running issues? You need a special wrench from cat or you have to make your own.

Yes i know about the tool, 0444-255 , but the front cover for the adjusters are very close to the power steering bracket , and
not having any running issues right now

I did mine when I took my plastics off. It is very tight in there but do able.
