Got an older Artic Cat sled this spring I'de like to try some trails in Michigan this winter. I live in Kenton NW ohio were would the closest trail to me be in Michigan ?
If the weather is right there's a little town over on the west side of lower michigan called Edwardsburg. It's just north of the border and not very big. They can get really hammered with lake effect and they have some decent trails. Otherwise you would need to head north to find good trails at place like St. Helen or further north. Dog

Dog, quite honestly now with deceased former club Prez Jake of the SHSP sled club passing away back in february, the trails there may "leave a little bit to be desired"

Trust me,, it's no longer in such capable hands as his any more........ bang your head

That's to bad, if they got nailed by lake effect it wasn't a bad place to ride. You could go quite a ways north from there. Dog
looking forward to snow :)

Thanks guys much appreciated :sledder:

The clown that was Prez prior to Jake taking over a few yrs back had no interest in maintaining a well groomed system and the remaining group of drunks will have the groomers in the repair barn more than on the trails.............. mark my word on that

That "organization is now only a power struggle with the thinking mind of Jake gone"............ heavy late season snow had most all trails shut down,, due to laziness amongst those in power struggle

Had Jake been there, there'd have been great riding, he always thrived for such conditions............ R.I.P. buddy :chug:

I feel sorry for Jim and Cheryl @ SHPS.. hopefully they can carry on with good business, even with the lower trail stds observed by the remaining snow packers "now in charge"
