Customer brought me his 2006 Arctic Cat to do a little work on. I’m not so familiar with the different models, so I’d like to get a manual. But really don’t know what I have? Know it’s a 2006 500 Green 4x4 but that’s all I know? Has the shifter on the left side with H L R , so figure that is an automatic?? Also there are FIS models, and TXB models and TRV models, designations.. what do these mean? Would the VIN help you in identifying what I have? Thanks

FIS= Fully Independent Suspension
TRX= A truck bed instead of a rear rack
TRV= Two Rider Vehicle ( you'll see floors far the passinger and a rear seat)

If there is no foot shifter at the left floorboard then it's automatic.

Google has all your answers there.

TBX has a dump box
TRV has a second seat and has the same wheelbase as the TBX
FIS is fully independent suspension
If the shifter has L-H-N-R and no foot shifter it is an auto.
