I took my primary clutch apart the other day to do the spring clearance mod and found the weights to be very tight. I polished them up with some sandpaper but I think the rubber o-rings might be also causing them to bind up. Has anybody else come across this problem? Do you think the o-ring could be replaced with a teflon washer or something?

Use red loctite and tighten the nut just to the point that it starts to bind te ram and stop. Let the loctite harden and remember if you want to remove the nut, you will need to put a little heat to it......
