The seat is a large part of that. The 1M seat is a lot of styrofoam with some regular seat foam on top.

Suspension arms are all thinner wall tubing
Suspension brackets are aluminum.
Airbox is narrower.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head, other people might remember more.

The rear rails are lighter. On the 04' models, the king cat used ti springs in the front, rear and the clutch springs and the attack 20 ttrack only weighed less than 50 ibs. If you want extra durabilty in the front, switch out the front arms and go with sno pro arms and 03 sno pro ACT fan shocks, not the 00 or 01 dynamic shocks. They are just plain junk. On the rear, just for good measure, I dont know if you running a regular King cat or 1m, i would suggest using 01 sno pro rear rail braces for some piece of mind. Also, the take off seat weighed only 6 ibs.

It is an 1M ( 2004 )
I have no previous experience out of this sled.
The sled gets a lot of aggresive trail riding so some improved durability and handling would be a nice improvement.

So your advice is....
Front Suspension:
2003 , Sno Pro AWS-V arms.
2003 , Sno Pro 440 FC ACT shocks.

Rear Suspension:
2001 , Sno Pro rail braces

What about better shocks ?
What about a forward mounted steering post ?

Anyone have some pictures for comparison of the airbox ?
