After searching archives for info, I still have a question. On my 2005 650V2, where is the preferred location for installing the 4-post relay, battery well? As a newbie, I thank everyone for any assistance.
I 've already downloaded some great info on common mods and fixes for the model, this is a great site.

mine from the factory (le edition) is on the flat support near radiator inside on the right side (when sitting on the ac) but for a new install the further away from the elements the better imo. batt box would work if it fits. don't forget a dab of di-electric grease on the connections to help seal them up a bit also.

The H1 I bought had it by the radiator. I promptly relocated it onto that plastic tray under the seat. Actually, there's enough room to put one on the tray and one on the angled metal plate under the seat that hovers over the engine. The seat barely clears it, but it does clear it. I have 2 relays under the seat (one for each winch) and it works fine.
