So, I finally got the wankel KM914 engine (eBay purchase, buyer beware of course) apart expecting that the apex seals would be worn out, which would have been an easy rebuild because I have those. Turns out that those are not so bad but it is the apex pins and side seals that are messed up, with half the springs under the apex pins and side seals either broken or missing bang your head . Of course, the end plate is scored which is not good but perhaps it can be machined within spec or I can find another one that is not damaged.

I only have a couple of the apex pin and side seal pieces. So I now join the crowd of people wandering the earth seeking these obscure parts...suggestions still appreciated
