Good news!! Glad to hear, hopefully he's there for a little while! So what happens now with your "found" bike? (Since you've already replaced them). I'm hoping the "scumbag" was someone who you didn't know and not a supposed friend?
Well I wanted to buy it back but the insurance told me on stolen atvs they send to auction and you have to be a dealer to bid. They also added for example if it was to fall off the trailer I could buy it back though. Oh well.... I come out with the 29.5 outlaw tires and itp wheels and ammo boxes.
About 18 months ago when I was looking for a cat I found one in Denver paper. They were stolen from a dealer in Oregon and brought to Denver. Seller advertised only one but they were two alike. I asked the seller about the warranty and he did not know so when I test rode the bike I got the serial number and called Arctic cat about warranty; and they told me that the ATV was stolen. I called the local police and the bikes were recovered. That is when I learned that he had two bikes.
If you have a stolen ATV let the manufacture know. They will keep track of the serial number for warranty work or any kind of work when the dealer sends the serial number in.
I'm just finding this thread and I see that there's still one out there that hasn't been found yet. How about getting the VIN listed here on ArcticChat so that we can be on the lookout?
