Hello. I am looking for a sled for a novice rider. I have come across a 2014 F5. I have never ridden a Twin Spar. The sleds always seamed to not fit the typical A/C vibe for me. Those who have owned them, please pipe in!

I have an F1000 and i love it. It is big feeling when on it, but has great wind protection and great riding position (mine has adjustable seat and bars) handles well and is a great trail sled. I think that F5 would be perfect for a novice rider.

The F5 is a nice machine but be aware it’s clutch engagement is a lot higher than some other machines. It’s around 4500 rpms.
I have a Twin Spar Bearcat and it’s a very comfortable ride. Very easy to stand up anytime while riding.

The F5 is an awesome starter sled. Great ride (even with the oil emulsion shocks), and reasonable performance. Great wind protection. Super easy to start. Bulletproof.....

Just go through the usual maintenance items and they will last forever.....
