Blew out a piston on our 2000 ZR 440 Sno-Pro. Was looking for a replacement cylinder; found a 2001 cylinder at a good price. Will this cylinder work correctly on a 2000 engine? Some of the research I've already done; piston is the same, power valves/covers are the same, exhaust, crankcase, and intake flanges are the same, bolts are all the same, the only difference is the cylinder head part number. Was wondering if anybody knew the exact differences between the two. Other option is to get the cylinders honed and "Nicasiled".

Check the microfische and if the cylinder part numbers are the same, then they are the same. The head numbers could be different for different compression ratios, etc. The cylinders don't cross reference, so there must be differences.
