as far as riding it like that i wouldnt cv,s are $$$ but there is a cure.
have you ever heard of GOOP if so it works on cv boots like a dream and wont come off and stays flexible
i did the same thing on my wifes 400le 6 mos ago i put goop on the boot let it set over night and wala :super_happy: .
its still on there today
