I guess I have not paid attention to this at the Shell station I go to. Mind it's a full serve so I'm not staring at the pump and cursing the gas prices lol. I also fill up at CO-OP stations too which are full serve.

Geez do you have a butler too ? Lol j/k

You don't have Mobil, Sunoco,Shell, or Citco stations in Wiconsin? All their fuel is Top Tier.
Ah nope; you don't know where we go, we aren't in cities, we are in the northwoods buddy' and there ain't no Shell Sunoco (god last time I saw one of those I was a 16 year old kid) Citgo, (I know of one in Rhinelander 50 miles away) Think theres a Mobil in Antigo, two hours away.

See some people think they know a state is just full of what they read, but in reality there's pretty much nothing. Kinda like the arctic tundra sprecked with little towns.

ACpantera; try Krist and Marathon and Holiday? Ya those are top tier alright. ever hear of any of those?

Oh yeah, I've heard of Marathon for sure, I haven't been that far West on a sled, but I've circum navigated all the great lakes on my motorcycle.

Good so you see that you don't know where I get my fuel correct? And it ain't top tier. And riding a motorcycle on a road doesn't get you the same gas stations as the northwoods on a sled right?

Watching the recent documentary “Making of a Murderer”, it shows that central eastern, to northern eastern Wisconsin is literally like guud describes. In essence, “nearly, off the grid” (so to speak)

As far as SUNOCO, I only know of ONE that I can think of at this time (and I’m not even sure it’s still a SUNOCO?!!)

That would be WEBSTER and GARNER OIL, Co. of my former stomping grounds in Clio, Mi.

Headed down that way later today possibly, I’ll have to jump off I-75 and see if it’s still SUNOCO, or not?

That’s funny to me, east Wisconsin is the city populated part of the state

Ya and I'm not sledding anywhere near there. I sled in Conover, two "one horse" gas stations. To put to rest all the people trying their darnest to prove otherwise, that I have "Top Tier", higher detergent gasoline stations;
(which we've all seen has no bearing on what harm it can or cannot do to a two stroke engine either way)
In my sledding area, one person said I have them because of a motorcycle ride he did on highways around the Great Lakes during the summer, so to start,
here is beautiful downtown Conover

Genuine one horse town and that on the left is the one gas staion we have, "The Energy Mart" (good dried sausage by the way)
now some others;
Land-O-Lakes Wisconsin,
BP station, I don't go there, BP's are all Ethanol mix
Watersmeet Michigan,
BP, see above
Citgo Premium Eth-free (sometimes)
Indian Casino, Never know what your getting
Boulder Junction, Wisconsin,
Shell, (only station for miles) Premium is Eth-free
Manitowish Waters (seen of the Dillinger-FBI shootout)
Airport has 100 Low Lead AvGas
Mercer Wisconsin,
Marathon, sometimes has Eth-free Premium
Lac Du Flambeau,Wisconsin,
Lac Du Flambeau, Indian Tribe Casino, Eth-free Premium
Sayner ,Wisconsin,
Mobil, Eth-free Premium
Eagle River Wisconsin,
Holiday, Eth-free Premium, D&S, US. Gas Everything Ethanol Free 87, 89 and 91 Premium (all for a price)
Krist, Eth-free Premium and 110 octane leaded race gas

There!
That's all the places we get fuel and for the most part ride. It's a guide to just about every gas station in those little one horse towns.
And Top Tier Fuel? Forget it.
Do you see any "city populated part of the state, as Ronandkate tried to say"? Answer, no!
A lot of riding areas for many northwooders don't have a lot of options. We don't have but one gas station, a general store and a post office [maybe].
You people read maps and try to see what press says is not the real world we all ride in.

Top Tier shouldn't be a problem. I just haven't had access to it.

I said the east part of wi is the city populated area, meaning that’s where the majority of the cities are and where most of the people are. Obviously that would be south to those that live in the north.

Eastern part of the state is not where I and many sled so it's a moot point to the Top Tier access in the "northern" areas we sled in. Population is very remote, don't believe me, go there
In short, we aren't talking about that anyway, we're talking about fuel here, not where the population is in Wisconsin

Of course I believe you. Grew up in the UP, jumped the border to WI cause the drinking age was lower, probably been everywhere and done everything there was to do up there.

I was using the outlying regions as a reference to nothing being around for miles (once outside of cities and metro areas.

What does it take for someone to realize something such as that?

Kinda what I said in post 7. Cities are one thing but out in the boonies you get what you get.

I really don't understand why you're getting bent out of shape here, ok your fueling is remote, we get it. Important thing I guess is that you don't run out of flammable juice, ride on.
