I have a 99 Bearcat 500 that needs a top end rebuild. I was talking to a local bike shop the other day. He said that, since it has a Suzuki motor, he might be able to find an overbore piston for it. My question for those in the know...since the sleeve is chrome lined, can it even be bored out? I'm thinking the sleeve may be too soft without the chrome lining to hold up.

That's what I thought. Where does one order a piston and sleeve kit? I have seen pistons listed as size A, B, AND C, all slightly different diameters, from Nakamura. How does one know which size to get for a given sleeve, if a kit isn't available?
