We live in Northern Michigan and a lot of our riding begins on pavement. We don't do mud and the seasonal roads are hard packed sand. The stock Armstrong tires are noisy and tend to wander, and are going to be replaced.

I am looking at quieter street tires, such as the STI Chicane, Tensor Regulator, Kanati Mongrel, and a few others.

The standard size is 26x10x14. Would it be okay to go to 28" tires? I have some concerns about the weight.

Ant thoughts on brands to consider.

As an aside, I added the full glass windshield, soft top, turn signals and a 4500# Superwinch(upside down mount).

Thanks for your thoughts.
