i have a 06 500 auto and am wanting to put some bigger tires on. but dont want to loose power. how big can i go. or what to do to keep the same power

I would only go 1 size bigger or just keep it the same size as stock...not much else to do other than put a clutch kit in for bigger tires..

I have a2006 500ATV and went from the stock 25" to ITP mud lites 26" and noticed a drop in the power but the traction differents was great. I would not go any larger than 26" without a clutch kit and carb work, it just works your motor,belt and trans to much IMO

You can go with bigger tires, but you'll need to install a clutch kit in ordder to maintain (or even gain) low end power.

how much money you got? thats how big you can go! stock keep it at 25in tires if you dont want any powerloss
