I just bought a 2000 ZRT 1000 and don't have a owners manual or am able to find a 01 performance manual. I would like to set this sled up for that fast run across the lake or 1000 foot run. It came with a 53 helix with a yellow spring, the primary has a silver spring and 57 gram AC weights. I want to lean this thing out and not burn it up. Also want fast up shift, not so concerned about back shift. Any information on a proven set-up would be appreciated. Also some cold weather and some snow would be nice.

Do you have pipes? Reeds?

I would try a D and d teal primary with 63 to 66 gram weights with a 60/40 helix for short drags. Longer drags and go with a 60-50?
