"2000 tcat has a 20 upper sprocket teeth and the lower is 39
.That 25 38 would work but for speed only"

Thanks,
Stock is 24 / 39 I think??
72 pitch
I ride rivers and lakes all at high speed
I want to order new high speed gears and chain and want to know if I went with 25 / 38 what pitch chain I would need.

I think zrowners meant 20-39 is stock gearing, going that far to 25-38 would require a very light rider I think even with 200 horses. And you'd have to be very particular about your clutching so you are actually at the correct RPM where you have 200 horses throughout your pull.

24/39 with 190. - 200 hp and 136 x 2 track. BM Whoopass clutch kit 64gm weighs. Had a tough time pulling 8000 rpm.
Thinking going to 62 gm weights before next step of going back to 41 tooth.
