I am considering getting a used Wildcat trail
Most models around me that are for sale are in the 2012 to 2015 model year
and most also have less than 1000 kms (600 miles)

Honestly i have also been looking at Rzr trails but it seems the AC units are all selling
for a few thousand less than the RZr's

If it looks modded IE after market exhaust bigger tires rad relocate i am not even considering it
so just basically looking at stock units or units with AC upgrades

Looking for help on what i should be looking at and listening to on the mechanical side
to hopefully make sure i am not buying something that has been abused and wont grenade
a week after i buy it

First year Wild Cat Trail was 2014. They had a recall to replace the back panel of the cab because the exhaust was to close and the plastic would melt and also the coolant hose had an issue. Otherwise they are a lot of fun. Very reliable but a bit noisy at speed. Ride and handling are great though.
