I'm upgrading the steering in my 01 to the newer 02+ style. If I just get bent handlebars, will my controls off my 01 handlebars bolt on with no problem, or? I purchased everything else minus handlebars and controls

I put them on my 01 ZR just take a colping saw and cut a little bit off the back of the break side switch so it will snap on the bar, the 02 controls are both 2 peice and only the throttle is a 2 piece on the 01. ne need to waste your money on new parts.
