I was looking at getting stud boy shaper bars but what I have been reading on other posts, it sounds like you need to have a studded track to run shaper bars. So do I need to stud my track if I get 6" shaper bars? My sled is a 2007 F6 Sno Pro if that helps anything.

you do not need to stud the track. i had 9 inch shapers on my f1000 with 1 inch track and didnt really have a problem (had them because i was going to a 1.5 inch ripsaw) i have 7 inch on my C&A Pro RZR skis now with no studs and dont have a problem! they help with steering a TON

Absolutely will not help with darting, will increase bite though.
If aftermarket skis are not in the budget, go for dual offset carbides from Qualitypieces. Side by side duals help with darting but greatly reduce your cornering bite.

Had the same issue when I looked, best to give them a call.
Ran them on my '07 before opting for aftermarket skis. Impressive difference vs conventional runner or side by side duals.
Money well spent.
