I have searched through the forum and still haven’t found a solid answer to why my speedometer is “wonky”

On my 2012 f1100 turbo the speedometer cuts in and out pretty frequently. I have checked the plug and it is plugged in. But still seeing it cut in and out. For the most part it just stops working. I am thinking that the sensor is just shorting out with the intermittent issues.

I have looked through the parts catalogue and cannot find the part number to order a new speedometer sensor. Does anyone one know by chance what it would be for this model?

Its mounted on the out side of the chain case. The magnets are mounted in the drive shaft itself. The part on out side of chain case is # 0730-172
